Outside World

Up next in our fall series: Outside World, the acclaimed Los Angeles experimental jazz duo consisting of multi-instrumentalists Henry Solomon and Logan Kane, performing in quartet with Takoda on Guitar/Effects and Benjamin Ring on drums. They released their third in a trilogy of mind-bending opuses, Outside World 3, on April 5th, 2024 via Minaret Records. Their recent record will give you a great sense of what you're in for: twisting and catchy high energy motifs over tightly locked in grooves, as well as introspective and soulful jams that take the BPMs down a few notches. No matter what the groove is, you're going to get earwormy melodic improvisations with the highest degree of musicality 👂🐛

The band features returning Goodbye Look champs Logan Kane and Takoda. These incredible musicians have been monumental evangelists for The Goodbye Look and the Seattle music hang, spreading the word through their community of incredible musicians. We're excited to be able to show them our appreciation with a packed out show featuring our always locked-in GBL audience members who continue to build the legend of the Seattle Hang.
